Size Report

At the first page of current lesson we’ve asked you to check Generate Size Report at Publish Settings – Flash Tab. If you did so you may find the file in the folder when you keep your FLA and SWF files with the name of your design file and extension TXT.

Open it in Notepad or any text editor and analyze.

This file provides you with information about size distribution among frames, size of each symbol, sound, image and font. If you find that some of your design elements consume too much space you may wish to revise the design and optimize it.
