“Video” Mask

To make effect of the video you need to move the background and leave the mask intact. Actually this technique was used for the animation of the window and clouds.

We will use the same “view” bitmap to create an effect.

Now it’s not necessary to turn mask itself into the symbol. But as we want to move background we need to make a symbol from the bitmap.

After that you may add more keyframes – now to “masked” layer and move the bitmap slowly.

In our example we have one more layer, which contains the drawing of the TV. As mask itself invisible we need to draw those details in the separate layer. It’s possible not only to move a bitmap from side to side, but also change it’s size – it will create an effect of zoom camera.

By using several photo bitmaps you may easily simulate a video camcoder.

Next
