Through the mask

During this lesson we will discuss another interesting Flash technique – Mask.

Look at the following example. There is a “window” through which you may see clouds in the sky. There is no other drawings on the stage but clouds are somehow “screened” from the view.

Mask is actually such a window or the “hole” . Everything what beyond may be seen through the “hole”.

Creation of them is not difficult, yet you may achieve interesting effects
