Layers and Frames

What is important to remember

• Drawings in Flash can be entered in separate layers
• What is drawn on the bottom layer in the stack will be covered with content of the top layers
• Fill drawings in the same layers are "mixing" (you may have it painted only once. Drawings in separate layers are independent
• Frames may be extended along the timeline, which extends the lifespan of the movie
• Each layer may have different number of the frames
• Keyframe make the borderline in the timeline. Drawing may differs from keyframe to keyframe
• When Flash file is run the drawings appear in the order then appear in the keyframes
