Flash Basics

Timeline

At the top of the screen you will see the Timeline Panel. Timeline itself is shown as a ribbon of subsequent Frames with each frame represented with small rectangle. Each frame has number and may be referenced by it. Red cursor (which is currently stays on the frame #1) shows where exactly in the timeline you stay.

At the left part of the Timeline Panel you may see the name of the Layer – (currently Layer 1). Our default movie has only one layer but it can be more.
