Programming basics

It's necessary!

If you have even minimal experience with the programming you may go through this lesson briefly or if you are confident in your programming skills you may skip it all.

However if you novice designer, have been working only with automated environments like Front Page or Dreamweaver, and have a faint idea about what means "variable" or "function" – you need to work hard during this module.

There is nothing difficult in programming concepts and there are not so many of them, but it is absolutely necessary to know them quite well before you start working with ActionScript.

There is a significant, even critical difference between developers who rely on book and internet "tricks" blindly copying them into their code and DEVELOPERS who are fully aware of all logic of their programs. First usually stuck on primitive pages with restricted and often vulnerable functionality. Second – make a progress with each project, creating more and more sophisticated applications.

We want you to be Developers from the capital letter… so you need to start from the core. If you fill that you need more information about programming concepts – any good programming book will help – all programming languages are based on the same concepts. We plan to launch our own introductory programming course soon. But for now be attentive to our lesson materials.
